2026 Candidate Questionnaire

Maryland's Primary Election is June 22 with early voting June 11-18. To help our allies understand candidates' positions related to the Coalition's advocacy priorities, an 11-question survey was sent to candidates running for County Executive, County Council, Board of Education and State Delegation offices. The following provides the responses of the 22 candidates who responded to the survey. These positions have not been edited; they are as submitted by the candidates. If a candidate does not appear below, they did not submit responses to our questionnaire.

Please feel free to share the survey results with your friends, family and colleagues. The Coalition encourages you to personally contact candidates or take advantage of town halls, community gatherings and other opportunities to follow up with candidates on their housing positions.
